Way back in   August   2005 Giovanni  Bolitres  also known as  Jovan,  Came up into  an idea  of reviving  their  long  lost  singing  group  named  Celestial Voice Singers.

Jovan  approaches Bryan  Salazar one day , if  he  is  willing  to  handle  a singing group. Bryan never had a second thought and agreed the idea.  Right then, Jovan recruited   the old members of the lost group Celestial Voice Singers, sad to know that one of the old members (Jose Piedraverde) is no longer available. Jose Piedraverde is now a member of a different singing group. Jovan and Bryan decided to recruit new members to complete the group.

Now there are seven members of the group, they are Bryan Salazar, Jovan Bolitres, Joseph Gara, Radito Gepayo, Israel Ligan, Beboy Paña and Neil Tapaya.

Same month the group started practicing songs and started singing at the home church.  Church members gave good comments to the group and the type of songs they are singing.

The group started visiting the nearby churches with the Calbayog Adventist Center youth members. The group was very active and got a lot of invitations from another churches and districts.

December 31, 2005, the group decided to change their name from Celestial Voice Singers to The Chosen Few. Now the group is much known and very active in the singing ministry.
